Safe & Secure is a program that addresses elder abuse and neglect. Services focus on safe housing, abuse, exploitation, neglect, and hoarding.
Who we serve:
Safe & Secure provides specialized intervention services for vulnerable Berrien and Van Buren County residents, 60 years and older.
Staff:
A multidisciplinary team of professional experts help provide safety, support, and services for vulnerable seniors.
If you know a senior who:
• May be experiencing physical, sexual, or emotional abuse or exploitation
• May be having their money stolen
• May be living in an unsafe home
• May be hoarding and needs help
• Is being threatened by a family member or landlord
